Our team at Forward is dedicated and passionate about a person-centered, evidence-informed approach to care. Using research-based strategies from the most current science, we focus on treatments with your goals in mind to help you feel and function at your best.

  • Chiropractor & Licensed Acupuncturist

    Bryan is a native of Rochester, NY. He is a 2016 graduate of New York Chiropractic College and a 2017 graduate of the Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Bryan blends his Eastern training of acupuncture with his Western training in bio-medicine and movement rehabilitation to create a truly unique, evidence-informed, individualized approach for each person he treats.

    Bryan has been practicing in Boston since 2017 and has had the honor of working with hundreds of athletes across a variety of sports and activities including: Rowing, CrossFit, Track and Field, Triathlon, Running, Power Lifters, Strength Athletes, and Yogis.

    Bryan has had a lifelong passion for movement and sports, playing mostly team sports as a kid. He developed a passion for running at age 12 and has been running ever since. He was a Division III collegiate athlete in Cross Country and Track and Field. After college, Bryan competed in the 2009 Amateur Triathlon World Championships in Gold Coast, Australia. He is currently training for his first Marathon but loves CrossFit and is a member of Kendall Square CrossFit in Cambridge.

    Bryan has worked with all ages and abilities in the athletic world, from novices to future Olympians. He believes that everybody was born to move often and that everyone is an athlete in their own way. If you move, you’re an athlete.

  • Chiropractor & Cert. Primary Spine Provider

    Steve is a New York native and 2016 graduate of New York Chiropractic College.

    Before opening Forward Spine & Sport with Bryan, Steve worked with World Spine Care, a charitable organization providing high-quality spine care in underserved areas around the world. Steve has served as a Clinical Supervisor for World Spine Care’s Dominican Republic clinic, and recently as the Clinical Coordinator for the Botswana program in Africa. Steve has also worked in private practice in Manhattan, New York and Durham, North Carolina.

    Steve is passionate about learning new ways to help people. He is a certified Primary Spine Provider through the University of Pittsburgh, School of Health and Rehabilitation Services and is always looking for new information to absorb. He has experience treating patients with complex spinal presentations but also loves to treat active individuals, athletes of all levels, and weekend warriors. He has recently undergone additional continuing education to train as an Exos Performance Specialist.

    Movement is a staple in Steve’s life and he enjoys spending his time working out or at Kendall Square CrossFit but loves to hit the road running as well!

  • Chiropractor

    Ryan is a Rhode Island native and 2020 Palmer College of Chiropractic West graduate.

    During his time at Palmer West, Ryan focused on bridging the gap between exercise and chiropractic care through several clubs and organizations on campus. He was an active member of the school’s sports council, which treated athletes at different sporting events in the Bay Area. After completing graduate school in San Jose, CA, he decided to move back to the East Coast to practice in Boston.

    From a young age, Ryan had a passion for sports and exercise. Growing up he played hockey, golf, and ran cross country, which all had a major influence towards his love for movement. Currently, he enjoys working with athletes from all different sports and skill levels.

    Ryan finds value in implementing an evidence-informed approach to care, which allows him to efficiently treat all types of musculoskeletal complaints. His main goal is to get you back to doing what you love most, as soon as possible!

  • Caroline has been a LMT in Massachusetts since 2018. A graduate of Sewanee (BS in Biology) and Carolina Massage Institute, she has been passionate about health and wellness all her life. She offers a customized approach for each client session based on the body’s needs.

    Caroline has trained in multiple modalities, including Swedish massage, myofascial release, orthopedic massage, and reflexology.

    Prior to becoming a massage therapist, Caroline worked as a physical therapy technician where she taught specific stretches and exercises to patients recovering from injury or surgery. She has also been teaching yoga since 2016.

    When not practicing massage or teaching yoga, you can find her running, playing golf, spending time with her husband and their dog, or exploring the Boston food scene.

  • Jasmine grew up in East Boston sailing on the harbor and swimming competitively.

    After graduating from Suffolk University in 2021 she moved to Long Island, NY to sail professionally and compete in races around the U.S. Now that she is back in Boston she is excited to get involved with the running community.

    During her free time, she enjoys coaching sailing and swimming, going to the park with her dogs, and spending time with her family!

  • Lover of Rubbies

    Kingsley is the official Forward Spine & Sport mascot and office emotional support animal. She is a big fan of all kinds of rubbies, and scratches. She is always in support of treats for being the bestest pup in the office. Her hobbies include being derpy, loving on all hoomans and her stuffed gator, and being mildly sassy/demanding of your attention when it’s not promptly given to her.
